Mobile Health Van

• On 16th Nov 2009, CSI supported by Save The Children India, rolled out a fully equipped mobile health van with the purpose of providing quality health care to a population of about 100,000 people residing in 10 slum clusters of North west Delhi.
• The health van would conduct two clinics per day and provide facilities for General health check up, Antenatal check up for pregnant women ,Routine Immunization for infants ,X ray , Growth monitoring of children under 2 years, and referrals to tertiary care.

Mahindra College project Week

• A team of students and faculty from Mahindra United world College, Pune came to CSI for their project week from 1st to 7th Nov’09.The team comprised of 10 students of International Baccalaureate course.
• The project week was intended to provide students a firsthand view of the functioning of a development agency and also to give them a deeper understanding of the needs and concerns and common problems men and women of their host country.
