HELPING PEOPLE, HELP THEMSELVES!

History

It was the April of 1991, when we first responded to the cry of someone in pain, in need. In doing so, we also served our own need to extend a helping hand. We donned the NGO fatigues, and became Child Survival India.

We began with children. They were, we then thought, the most vulnerable, the neediest. And then we discovered others who were just as deserving -- Adolescents, women, and men, including those special categories such as the HIV affected.
