child health issues, thru their fortnightly meetings.
Eight “wellness depots” have been established in
the area to provide easy access to the community to iron tablets, oral pills, chlorine tablets and condoms.
A 24 X 7 emergency transport facility has been established within the community to promote institutional deliveries in the area.
Linkages with local public health facilities are being nurtured through interactive sessions between swasthya samooh members and
service providers to build people’s confidence in the services and to encourage them to access services in public health facilities.
