Hukumchand is passionate about cycling…If you want to go to his home, he would invite you to ride with him to his place…. Hukumchand is a frail looking man of not more than 50kgs of weight…but his stamina is unsurpassable – he easily provides ride to a 75kg+ guy for about 10 kms distance with such ease that you would be really surprised !
Hukumchand seen her playing with his mouse while his wife looks on…she is also HIV+ .Both just thank god that all their kids are healthy and happy. They have two teenage children and two married daughters…

Hukum despite consistent appeal from his family, has still not managed to quit smoking…the kitchen is his ‘adda’ where he enjoys a light or two…
Reflecting on ‘Time’…
The doctor and Counselor at CSI care home have been a great help to the family. Whenever Hukam or his wife are sick or feeling a little low, they come to CSI and seek treatment. The monthly support group meetings facilitated by NGO have given them a lot of support and confidence to cope up with their health and other related problems.
Hukum engrossed in a movie...if he has nothing to do, he likes to catch up with the latest news or enjoy a daily soap or a movie…

Hukamchand and his wife are closely associated with CSI and they have become educators for others…. they conduct positive speaking sessions in communities and schools where CSI works .Besides, they also conduct weekly awareness sessions in their house where they educate young people and kids in their neighbor hood about HIV and other issues like personal hygiene etc.
