Baby, like Anjum has been a commercial sex worker for quite sometime and operates in the nearby industrial area. Her husband is much older than her and works as an electrician in a private firm in Okhla.

Anjum’s husband has been very supportive of her wife and helps her with common household jobs like cooking, washing clothes, feeding the kids etc…
For the last three years , CSI has been closely working with Street based Commercial sex workers in Narela under a program called Targeted HIV prevention program for female sex workers(TI project ).

CSI has been successful in creating awareness among CSWs about having
safe sex encounters with their clients
, seeking prompt treatment for sexually transmitted infections and not going in for repeated abortions and taking care of their reproductive health …CSI conducts one to one meetings, group sessions , various camps and health melas for female sex workers…
